BD Telecommunications Ltd
BDTel is a telecommunications service, which provides one of the best quality communication facilities. It allows users to obtain a variety of different methods to help establish new relationships as well as old. The company also, provides Home Accounts to allow our users to top-up and make unlimited calls worldwide. The company’s main aim is to sell the diverse range of telecommunication services to provide customer satisfaction and allow consumers to have access to wide range of choices, as we promise to give our customers the best deals available. As a company we strive to make our communication company the best in the market but also reliable and trustworthy to ensure the gratification of our customers. The company also has offices in Bangladesh as the company is constantly expanding. The company’s new project is the BDTel home receiver, which is one of the cheapest way people, can talk abroad from our company.

The company is based in London, England and it was founded in May 2013. The CEO of the company is called Iqbal Ahmed and the managing director is Azar Ali.

The company’s CEO has an abundance of experience in telecommunications as he had worked for a worldwide reseller business since 1998.This is one of the reasons he chose to open this business, as he knows a lot about it.

We want you to make a 30 second advert that helps promote our business but also summarizes our core beliefs like customer satisfaction and unbeatable prices. This advert will be shown on TV. The company wants this advert to contain our customer service information and the website address at the bottom of the television so it is clearly seen by the viewer and this will cause less hassle for the viewer in trying to contact us. It will also allow them time to copy the contact information with ease. The company also wants you to highlight our international call rates and we want you to compare these rates with other competitors to show how we either match them or beat them when it comes to these rates. The company would also like you to show a family-calling relatives all around the world to show how we reach all countries in the world. The company wants you to use bright colours to emphasize the happiness of the family. The company would like 2-3 different ideas and if you have any ideas we would be more than happy to consider it for the advert. We would like your ideas for the adverts by May 25th 2016.

I really like the style of this animation because there are lots of things happening e.g there are posters and animation together also real life pictures has been used.The colours are very bright.

This animation has too much details but the animating is very good because the characters have life.The animation has voice over also to help the views it has texts as well.In my animation I can have voice over so it will be easy to understand.

I have researched calling cards and bank cards to get ideas for my animation and my drawing style.

Here I have looked at info-graphics to get ideas how objects looks like and I have looked at the video to see how the animation works.From the video I have learnt how objects or characters moves.

Idea

It will be an calling card advert.The advert will be 30 seconds long.The main point of this advert is to persuade people to use this card to call anyone countries with less money.My idea is to make the card and animate it in Flash. The card will have hands and legs.

Character design

Here I have created some character designs for the advert. I would like you to choose the one character that you want me to use for the advert. If you want me to make more character designs I'm happy to make some more. I have designed males characters only because I have seen so many male students that are here for education and they have no family here. I always see students buying calling cards from the shop to call their relatives. That’s why I think it’s the best to design male characters.

I have designed this character old because if use this old man people will feel sad for the man.

I have designed this character as a student because I want other students to follow him and use the same calling card.

This is a young boy that we can use for the advert showing how much he misses he’s family.

 This is a middle-aged man who is confused what card to use so he can call he’s wife.

This is a simple card character that I can use for the advert because it’s very simple it only has arms and legs.

This is the simplest one because I can make the mouth move and make him talk.

I think this card will suit the advert because the character looks very happy and in that way the customers will be happy too.

Here I have emailed my client to pick characters that he would like to see in the animation.

I don't think it's a good idea to put map of Bangladesh because other background people might ask why not their country so that's why I replaced it with the world that has every countries.

Here I have emailed my client to meet up with him to show my animatic and also to get feedback.

The feedback I got from client is that I need to colour the character.

He also said 'How you going to show the bad signal?

my reply was 'to show bad signal I will use bad signal'

This is the main character because I think it will be easy to animate in flash.I have created the body parts in different layers so I don't have to draw each frames every time I can just move the arms.

















My client asked me how am I going to show bad connection well here is the answer
the line is red this shows the connection is negative.















Here you can see the man is very angry because the connection is very bad.














Here you can see the man is using BDTel and the connection is very good because the line is green that shows the line is clear and smooth.

I have created 33 seconds 2D animation for my client using Adobe Flash.To render my final animation I exported as a .mov file.To edit my animation and to add sounds /voice over I have used Sony Vegas Pro.This animation is very successful because my client loved it.To make this animation better I will have to improve on my feedback that I have received from my client e.g make the advert 30 seconds long.My client will change the voice over and add an new voice over to make it sound professional. If I was to create the animation again I would make it in different kind of software  because it might look better and interesting
